ok so for those of u who donno about this 3id.. also i am pretty much clueless too hahaha well i jus know about it but nothing too much about sicne baba send me a link for 3id mubarak.. and i was like aaa... didnt 3id al-Adha (Qurban) just passed and i was like thats how long iv been away hahaha heres a link for all of us to learn a little about it....
3id al-3'adeer is not same as 3id al-Qurban ok. :D
heres another msg/email from my baba about it... its aparently 3id of the Seyyids cuz i called my grandma and she said here talk to ur Sayyid side of the family (Sayyids means related to prophet Muhammed SAWS , his relatives that have been traced down by blood thousands of yrs till this date and its acurate since they write it down in the kitab al dowlat al-3rabia Sa3udiyyah and also dowlat al Yemen. anywhoo if u read farsi or 3rabi heres below msg if not keep scrolling down. Ps this 3id is strickley for Shi3'a muslims only.
Today is the day that in Mecca Hazrat Muhammed SAWS had picked up Imam Ali's hand and lifted it up in front of thousands of thousands of Hajjis, Prophet Muhammad went on to tell them :
"Man konto Mullah fa hatha Ali on Mullah"
= ya3ni harkas man mullaye oo hastam ALi mullaye oo hast! = ya3ni in the Imamat Imam Ali was chosen to be the next for people to follow and thats and Hazrat Muhammed said: "whom ever i'm his Mullah, Ali will be their Mullah" ya3ni he said: "Imam Ali will be my next follower in my order on Imamat" because he was the first man in the world who became Muslim. (and first lady who became Muslim was "Khadidjah", Prophet Muhammad's First wife)

And the whole world after that becomes Muslim one religion and one language which is the language of islam which is Arabic ya3ni 3rabi ARABI!!! and 80 thousand more years ppl will live after that, happily ever after!!
when imam Mahdi dies (a lady kill him) imam Hussein will be returning and dafning imam Mahdi (imam mahdi has 313 very very very very relegious people followers will come back and follow him, even though we all follow imam Mahdi AS, these people are 100% true muslims and do absolutly no sins and 7aram in this Donya since the day they are born and till the day they are gone)....

Imam Ali was a VERY strong man, he was doing e'jaz (mo'jeze ya3ni miracle) he picked up a door that 60 men couldn't even pick up TOGETHER, he just picked it up with one hand and threw it really really far, that's how strong he was, and if he wanted to he could fight like no other, nobody could dare to touch him, nobody would dare to come close to him, he was the most powerful man in ARAB. he was very gentle man and he didn't wanna fight because he wanted the imamat to continue. when he fight with his sword it was soo amazing, his double bladed sword. that is why he waited 25 yrs and didn't do anything no fight no nothing when people said bad stuff about him he was also very sabur, he use to help people who was poor like for ex in nights he use to give ppl milk in the night and they couldn't see his face they use to fo7sh and call him bad names and he would say "I AM IMAM ALI!" and they would say: "What!!?? Wow u are soo nice we love u sorry they just tell us bad things about u!" and many people loved him.
my baba is a sheikh al7mdullilah and he is schooling me right now on the phone haha about this 3id and also the namaz for this day like the salat al-3'adeer.
Every imam was killed by poison except imam Ali who was killed by shamsheer in his ma9z (sword was juked in his brains) imam Ali AS was killed by Abdul-Ra7man ibn-murjam.and imam Hussein also was killed in Karbala in 3shoora, they cut his head and they throw many horse to run over his body and made nothing out of it. they throw thousands of nizeh swords to his body, they were 70 ppl from imam Husseins part who were fighting with more 30 thousand ppl, so all became shaheed. Allahoma sali ala muhammadin wa Alii muhammad.imam Hussein was killed by Shemr ibn zel-joshan.

فضیلت و اعمال روز عید غدیر
امام صادق علیه السلام می فرمایند : روزه روز غدیر مانند روزه کل دهر ( کل روزگاران ) می باشد که اگر فردی از ابتدای خلقت دنیا تا به انتهای آن باشد و همه ی روزها را روزه بگیرد ، معادل روزه روز غدیر می باشد . و روزه این روز معادل صد حج و صد عمره می باشد و این روز عید الله الاکبر می باشد ... کسی که نیم ساعت قبل از ظهر دو رکعت نماز بخواند ؛ بخواند در هر رکعتی سوره حمد را ده مرتبه ، سوره قدر را ده مرتبه و آیه الکرسی را ده مرتبه ( و بعد از نماز هم دعای وارده را بخواند ) ، این نماز نزد خداوند معادل صد هزار حج و صد هزار عمره می باشد و هر حاجتی از حوائج دنیا و آخرت از خدا بخواهد ، برآورده می شود . کسی که در این روز به مومنی افطار دهد ، ثواب کسی را دارد که یک ملیون نفر از انبیاء و صدیقین و شهداء و صالحین را در حرم الهی اطعام کرده باشد . یک درهم ( انفاق) در این روز معادل صد هزار درهم می باشد .

Ismaili/Mustaali/Taiyabi/ Fatimid/Dawoodi Bohra also celebrate the day, and there is tradition of taking mass oath on the day to reassert commitment to Islam, in the same manner as their individual adult take oath on reaching adulthood. This they believe to be continued from the period of their Fatimid Imam.
Sunni Muslims do not deny that a last sermon took place, but do not celebrate the day specifically. On the other hand, Salafi Muslims and those considered by some to be influenced by them such as Deobandis or Ahle Hadith do not celebrate this day as they feel that only Eid ul-Adha and Eid-ul-Fitr are celebratory days.

A few months before his death, Muhammad – living in the city of Medina – made his last religious pilgrimage to Mecca in a trip referred to as The Farewell Pilgrimage. There, atop Mount Arafat, he addressed the Muslim masses in what came to be known as The Farewell Sermon. After completion of the Hajj, or religious pilgrimage, Muhammad turned back towards his home in Medina.On the trip there, he stopped at the pond of Khumm and praised Ali. The exact meaning of the praise is a matter of much dispute; not only do Sunni and Shi'a Muslims disagree as to, which statements about the pond are authentic, but they also disagree on the interpretation.
Shi'a Muslims believe that after the pilgrimage, Muhammad ordered the gathering of Muslims at the pond of Khumm and it was there that Muhammad nominated Ali to be his successor.They further believe the wordings of sermon as follows;
"Oh people! Reflect on the Quran and comprehend its verses. Look into its clear verses and do not follow its ambiguous parts, for by Allah, none shall be able to explain to you its warnings and its mysteries, nor shall anyone clarify its interpretation, other than the one that I have grasped his hand, brought up beside myself, [and lifted his arm,] the one about whom I inform you that whomever I am his master (maula), this Ali is his master (maula); and he is Ali Ibn Abi Talib, my brother, the executor of my will (Wasiyyi), whose appointment as your guardian and leader has been sent down to me from Allah, the mighty and the majestic."
This has also been narrated in Sunni sources they claim حسين و من و ﺁنا منل حسين
